Five Purposes of the Church
Two Statements by Jesus Summarizes it all:
1. Love the Lord with all your heart WORSHIP
2. Love your neighbor as yourself MINISTRY
3. Go and make Disciples EVANGELISM
4. Baptizing them FELLOWSHIP
5. Teaching them to obey DISCIPLESHIP
MOTTO: A Great Commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission will grow a Great Chruch.
PURPOSE TASK ACTS 2:42-47
Evangelism --Evangalize-- "...added to their number daily those who were being saved."
Worship --Exalt-- "They devoted themselves to breaking bread and prayers praising God."
Fellowship --Encourage-- "...devoted to the fellowship all The believers were together they ate together."
Discipleship --Edify-- "They devoted themselves to the apostels' teaching."
Ministry --Equip-- "They gave to anyone as he had need."
