A JESUS Driven Church

Friday Night Service

Come and join us Friday's at 7pm in
Worship, the Word and Recovery
A Place of Hope, Healing, & Restoration

When New Beginnings started in 1996 it was on the hearts and minds of the
church to start a Recovery ministry. In 1998 the ministry formed and now is
called T.G.I.F. (Thank God I'm Free) Recovery. Since then many people have been
comforted, strengthened and set free.  We hope that you experience God's
love and feel welcomed into our family.
For More Information:

FRIDAY NIGHTS AGENDA  (Meeting time is always 7PM)
We begin the evening with fellowship and really stout coffee flavored with
your favorite creamer.
Next we open with prayer and a time of praise and worship to our Father in
Heaven while we enjoy awesome songs that enrich our
worship experience.  Feel free to worship however the Spirit of God leads.

Third a message from God's Word will be given that will inspire you in your
time of renewing your faith.  We believe that you will find encouragement
through the message and a new peace, which can only come from our Heavenly Father.

Please note that you can add prayer requests at the Guest Table.  Also available are
Our Daily Breads and New Testaments for you.  Feel free to take one.

After our prayer time the men join together with the men and the woman join together with women.
These group sessions are a time when we can share deeper struggles and lift each other
up in prayer.  There are many areas of struggle such as chemical dependency, addictions,
relational, marital, etc. that are shared confidentially.  We require that what is shared in the
groups stays in the groups.

· A place to worship & celebrate God's love!
· A place to be part of the family of God.
· An opportunity to share what Jesus Christ has done in your life.
· Healing and support from any type of addiction, broken emotions and broken relationships.
· Encouragement for men and woman in fellowship and to introduce God's
      healing power in our lives.
Philippians 4:6   Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and
supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

- Realize I'm not God: I admit that I am powerless to control my
tendency to do the wrong thing and my life is unmanageable.  "Happy are
those who know they are spiritually poor." Matthew 5:3
STEP 2 - Earnestly believe that God exists, that I matter to Him, and that
He has the power to help me recover.   "Happy are those who mourn, for
they shall be comforted."  Matthew 5:4
STEP 3 - .Consciously choose to commit all my life and will to Christ's care
and control.  "Happy are the meek." Matthew 5:5
STEP 4 & 5 -  Openly examine and confess my faults to myself, to God, and
to someone I trust.  "Happy are the pure in heart."  Matthew 5:8
STEP 6 & 7 -  Voluntarily submit to every change God wants to make in my
life and humbly ask Him to remove my character defects.  "Happy are those
whose greatest desire is to do what God requires."  Matthew 5:6
STEP 8 & 9 -  Evaluate all my relationships.  Offer forgiveness to those who
have hurt me and make amends for harm I've done to others except when to do so
would harm them or others.
"Happy are the merciful." Matthew 5:7
"Happy are the peacemakers."
STEP 10 & 11 -  Reserve a daily time with  God for self-examination, Bible
reading, and prayer in order to know God and His will for my life and gain
the power to follow His will.
STEP 12 -  Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others,
both by my example and by my words.
"Happy are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires."  Matthew 5:10
